Pain's still the same this morning but now joined by my brain lurching from the exhaustion, throwing me sideways at random intervals and making me sick. I'll call it a Monday.</p>

I've cried out aloud several times this past 24 hours, which I never do normally, and last night when I didn't sleep more than 10 minutes at a time I even wept, which again is something I don't normally do with pain. /wail</p>

Mike<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://cupoftea.social/@coolpup" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>coolpup</span></a></span> Thanks, yes I do have some (lovely palm sized ones). <br>Unfortunately, for me, warmth & heat seem to have minimal impact on the level of discomfort - as opposed to cold which can often make my joints quite painful. At the moment it's mostly my fingers, although my right knee & both hips suffer occasionally.<br>I don't really understand why some <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/arthritis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>arthritis</span></a> sufferers don't always get relief from heat (like me) - although I gather it's something to do with inflammation and inflammatory response around the joints.<br>My wife has severe arthritis in her back and limbs and she does get significant relief from warmth. We're all different!</p>

SamanthaAnother one of my favorites...CROCHET! I had a little etsy business at one point. I did pretty good, had fairly consistent orders. The thing about that is...taking something you do to relax and turning it into a business was a mistake. Putting absolutely ridiculous time frames for completing on myself was my first mistake. The second, not valuing my time and my commodity. I often priced myself so low that I was "earning" like $2.50 per hour I spent on the projects, or less! And so, I let the etsy business fizzle out and go dark. Will I ever sell my creations again? Maybe. But my love for crochet will be forever...even if my arthritis has other opinions. LOL!<br>

Valen RESISTS<p>My wife has <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/arthritis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>arthritis</span></a> and is having good results by taking Metformin off-label. It really helps a lot. The only side effect seems to be some heartburn, but pepsid takes care of that.</p>
John :au: :hb:<p>I’ve upped my <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/shoesize" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>shoesize</span></a> & <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/bootsize" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bootsize</span></a> from US9 to US9.5 </p><p>I’ve found that with my issues (<a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/arthritis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>arthritis</span></a>, bad knees, bad back) it was a painful hassle just putting boots & shoes on.</p><p>The bending, the twisting my feet, doing up the laces etc.</p><p>As of today my yard boots are 9.5 laced boots - but with a side zipper.</p><p>Being a little larger I can get my feet into a little easier as well.</p><p>So when I need to put in my boots it’s now just slip my feet in & do up the <a href="https://fairdinkum.one/tags/sidezipper" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sidezipper</span></a>.</p><p>Much, much better for me.</p>
Natalie<p>I am having an increasing amount of difficulty using my mouse accurately due to <a href="https://aus.social/tags/arthritis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>arthritis</span></a>. Does anyone have any recommendations for mice or pointing devices that can aid more precise pointing with minimal pain? Does this exist? Can I operate a computer with just my brain yet? Someone please help.</p>
