You know how I previously stated that I hate the word "content" because it is a rather generic word that tells you nothing about what the "content" actually is?

Well I think I like the word when it is used for AI generated slop. The genericness of the word is perfect for the garbage put out by AI.

Even if you choose "Do not index with search engines" on your #mastodon instance, your public posts may still be #indexed 😕

If "Allow my posts to reach other servers by default" is enabled, your content will reach other instances that DO index with search engines. 🕵️‍♂️

🛡️ Tip: #Google your profile or copy unique posts to see where they appear. Even if they aren't showing up now, consider the long-term impact of potential public indexing from other servers!
