It's Respect Your Cat Day.
I'm pretty sure that if this isn't every day, you will definitely hear about it from those furry felines.

We got our kitten from Athens a week ago, rescued him from 23 hours/day in a cage. Ash is really nice, but he's yowling at night, despite being fixed. He's friendly with our Ski, our female cat, but he's also trying to mount her (despite her not being in estrus, and him fixed). Weird stuff. We had to separate them, he's sleeping downstairs now, and he's pretty unhappy about it. We'll see, because Ski is not doing well. Her health is failing her big time.
Katze müsste man manchmal sein, oder? Sich die Sonnenflecken suchen und dort chillen, ab und an mal die Vögel anzwitschern, miauen, wenn der Hunger kommt und wenn ein Mensch mal auf Klo geht direkt hinterher schleichen und sich dazu gesellen. Und ansonsten den ganzen Tag irgendwie verschlafen. Haaaach, wäre das schön jetzt...
Stattdessen Termine, lange Fahrten bei BVG Streiks, Handwerker im Schuppen (weil Wasser im Schuppen) und so richtig warum wurde es diese Woche auch nicht. Ich bin auf jeden Fall gerade noch immer mental ziemlich müde und erschöpft und merke immer, dass nicht mehr viele Tropfen zum Überlaufen fehlen.
Noch 2 Wochen, dann kommen die Ferien. 2 Wochen. Das schaffen wir!
Und bis dahin versuche ich es vielleicht mal wie die Katze... zumindest zwischendurch!
Und dann hoffentlich auch mit weniger Mimimi... nervt mich ja selber *lach*.
