Jake in the desert<p>I don&#39;t really dig intros, and that&#39;s why this week&#39;s <a href="https://c.im/tags/ThursDeath" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ThursDeath</span></a> is unique. In the grand tradition of fine Scandinavian metal before them, Helsinki, Finland&#39;s AZATOTH are a fairly new band. But their EP &#39;Ungodly Carnage&#39; from 2022 is DRIPPING with slime and rot in under 20 minutes- just how I like it. SUPERBLY putrid stuff. </p><p>From the scuzzy solos to yes, the very cool intro (for once!) Jake in the desert<p>When I mentioned MORTIFERUM and their first EP &#39;Altar of Decay&#39; from 2017 that was <a href="https://c.im/tags/NowPlaying" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NowPlaying</span></a> earlier I also mentioned their 2021 full length but I missed this EP in between -- 2019&#39;s &#39;Disgorged from Psychotic Depths&#39;.
