(written as markdown here, can also be html of course) and that will take people right there when they click it.</p><p>Seeing your track list a few weeks ago kinda inspired me to include this, so I thought I'd let you know first. ;) Thanks for the inspiration!</p>

Simon Repp<p>One of the upcoming <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/faircamp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>faircamp</span></a> releases will probably include javascript asset minification¹ (a specific compression method):</p><p>The most javascript "heavy" page on a faircamp site is a release page, the only page that might load all javascript assets faircamp uses at once (which are then cached and reused on all other pages).</p><p>On my latest development branch this transfers 56kB of javascript.</p><p>With minifcation it's down to 29kB of javascript.</p><p>For reference, the <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mastodon</span></a> web interface page I'm writing this from (notifications) transfers 1753kB of javascript, which is the equivalent of loading 60 different faircamp websites.</p><p>But maybe that's a bad comparison, so for a better reference I just loaded a random <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/bandcamp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bandcamp</span></a> release page from my bookmarks, and that transfers 4692kB of javascript, the equivalent of loading 160 different faircamp websites.</p><p>ฅʕ•ᴥ•`ʔ</p><p>(¹compile-time, i.e. the distributed binary even gets marginally lighter for those who use faircamp)</p>

If you've tried the site, I appreciate any and all feedback. </p><p>I definitely had fun building it, but I also put an awful lot of work into making it professional, bug free, and easy to use.
