TanjaI'm also dabbling a bit with Bluesky. The weekly prompt in one of the crochet Threads there was neckwear: cowls, loops scarfs etc. I'm not a huge fan of cowls, but was intruiged with the Moebius technique, so gave this a try. Bonus: it also doubles as a headwrap. And the yarn is beautiful. TanjaI finished the pair of Mittens I started last Tuesday. I'm a tad disappointed by the yarn; the colour started out super vibrant and became muted throughout the same skein. SvenTetzlaff （翁辞文）🎬 Das Fiber Life Festival fand Ende März auf der ikonischen Tianmu Plaza in 杭州 statt. Das Festival drehte sich um FIBER. TanjaThe details in that beauty are great, I love all the structure. Lots of bobble stitches in variations. (.... though not as many as in my current WIP) I remember I made this shawl for a MAL over on Ravelry (Make-Along) with the topic Earth and my inspiration was Sedona. The pattern itself was also a CAL (Crochet Along) by the Designers, but I made it later. In any case - I love the composition of this pattern. Bonus - the yarn is from a small yarnwinder in my country. In one of my yarn surprise boxes, there was this crazy luxurious yarn: 40% Wool - Merino 25% Camelid - Llama 20% Silk 15% Cellulose - Linen / Flax I was almost scared to use it and searched the longest time for a fitting project. TanjaLet's talk about blocking your crochet pieces. Blocking is magic and can bring your project to a whole new level. Swipe to see what this snowflake ornament looked like before and during blocking. In this case I was also working with starch, which I don't do for shawls. But it's useful for an ornament. TanjaThe pattern for this beauty is called "Dandelion Lane" and the yarn I used reminded me of a Dandelion growing out of a street. Amazing little resilient plants! Also - the shawl has Glitter.
