Schon jetzt vor der neuen Regierungsbildung von CDU und SPD schwindet die Hoffnung welche bei vielen vor der Bundestagswahl noch aufgekeimt ist. Von der Wahlkampf-Dynamik und der Aufbruchsstimmung ist nur noch die ernüchternde Realität der deutschen Politik übrig geblieben. Im Bundestag werden die Belange der eigenen Parteien in den Vordergrund gestellt anstatt eine schnelle Lösung für einen dringenden Politikwechsel zu kreieren.

@Lambo the shocking bit to me is that the cases detailed in the report are … not that shocking. This sort of abuse and utter lack of oversight is endemic to the entire system.

I have been shouted at over the phone for half an hour without interruption (at that point I didn’t care anymore and had put the receiver on my desk while inviting colleagues to witness the spectacle). my livelihood has been threatened. postdoc research associates frequently broke down and cried. neither advisory boards, ombudspeople nor, ultimately, the foundation and federal government responsible for appointing and removing directors intervened.

Also, it must be noted that solidarity among the victims of bullying was practically inexistent.
