Lianna (on Mastodon)<p>Hello from the client <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/Tokodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tokodon</span></a> that I am currently trying out!<br>I switched to <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/KDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>KDE</span></a> after years of desktops like <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/LXQt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LXQt</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/Moksha" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Moksha</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/TDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TDE</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/TrinityDesktop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TrinityDesktop</span></a>. I moved because KDE is the only desktop that supports HDR right now.</p><p>I've been really happy with it so far! So many features I had no idea existed.</p>
Steven Rosenberg<p>I'm giving Lubuntu a tryout. I forgot that I ran it on an old Thinkpad R32 back in the LXDE days. </p><p>It uses LXQt now and looks pretty nice. There's more polish than with Fedora LXQt and a slightly better app mix. </p><p>I like that Lubuntu has a community, a blog and a handbook. </p><p>Tomorrow I'll have to see how Snaps work, and I will expect the Google Chrome .deb to shit the bed just like in "full" Ubuntu. Hopefully I can sort that one out.</p><p><a href="https://ruby.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/lubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lubuntu</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/lxqt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lxqt</span></a></p>
Steven Rosenberg<p>I have been able to work all day using the Fedora LXQt spin. </p><p>This success owes a lot to the developers of LXQt and Fedora. This is a really nice project.</p><p>It's also the first time I've used non-atomic Fedora in a long, long time. I'm going to have to give Fedora Xfce a try.</p><p><a href="https://ruby.social/tags/Fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Fedora</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/LXQt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LXQt</span></a> <a href="https://ruby.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a></p>
