miiko<p>Ok one complaint. When connected with hdmi to a tv set, and routing audio through that hdmi, through the tv to a set of speakers, the sound lags. Or cuts, jumps, whatever you wanna call it. Charlotte Aten<p>I've installed Linux Mint Debian Edition onto one of my machines! The only difference I've noticed is that it asks me about the GRUB bootloader more at setup than I recall from Linux Mint.</p><p>If all continues to go well with my first machine, I'll be switching the other machines to Debian Edition, as well.</p><p>I had a hard time finding information on the differences between specifically Debian and LMDE online that wasn't just AI-generated clickbait garbage, but I have the general impression that LMDE has more set up for me at the outset, which is what I prefer.</p><p><a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ubuntu</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Amazon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Amazon</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/LinuxMintDebianEdition" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMintDebianEdition</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/LMDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LMDE</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/GRUB" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GRUB</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Debian</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/FOSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FOSS</span></a></p>
