Everything is what it should be, at an evening by the most famous city lake in Hanoi. Hoan Kiem lake, also known as “(Lost) Sword Lake", are in the shopping and sightseeing center of Hanoi. The political capital of PR Viet Nam is a large city, with rivers, channels and lakes, but Hoan Kiem is the lake you have to visit. It is not a tourist trap, as it attracts vietnamese as well as tourists and internationals all day and evening. In the south end, several old gates frames couple taking their wedding pictures. In the center, an old temple, near the north side an old pagoda. Around it, heavy traffic. Dag-Rune ZTranquility, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi A quiet spot in a big city. It is the most famous city lake in Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake, and it offers peace too. Even if the rest of the area is bustling with activity in the evening. The city lake of Hanoi are one of my favorites in Asia, particular in the evening when people are using it as a social arena. Both by locals and visitors. It is a place to meet, greet, eat and drink, and to read, quietly observe or seeking inner peace. The park and the lake is big enough even for rather peaceful activities. The area around the lake is already used for morning classes and individuals doing Tai Chi. And now meditating people is adding to their numbers mornings and evening. Has line/phone out. You can charge it so you don’t need batteries or cables. If you get the latest firmware it can even load NAM-files, meaning you not only have all the effects and stuff built in to the little thing, but it can sound like a proper full stack all ready to go.It won’t replace my regular interface when recording at home, but for a mobile solution, or practice, it is a great little gadget, that comes in cheap too! About 20ish years ago we found a way to measure the response from the cabinet by using sweep frequency signal and recording the output. It is called impulse response, or <a href="https://bsd.network/tags/IR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#IR</a> for short. On Jan 2 of 2019, Steven Atkinson started work on Neural Amp Modeler or <a href="https://bsd.network/tags/NAM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#NAM</a> for short. In short it is an AI powered measurement of preamp. I use it on my <a href="https://bsd.network/tags/FreeBSD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#FreeBSD</a> desktop for about 6 months now and it's insanely good. We had digital emulation of tube amps before, but they were never based on measurement, so they didn't recreate the sound with a quality worth mentioning. On 30th of December I received <a href="https://www.dimehead.de/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.dimehead.de/</a> which is the only NAM hardware that doesn't have a gap when switching presets, to my knowledge.For the past 30 years I'm "yelling at clouds" that digital sound can replace analog one. Of course, guitar community always looked at me like I'm ready for mental institution. So, just to be clear, 2025 is the year when I finally can back up my claim about digital audio! I can't stress enough how important this is for me!
