The slate was transported to the harbor via the Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow-gauge railway that is still operational today.</p><p>Many historic warehouses and buildings from the harbor’s slate trading days have been repurposed into shops, cafes, and accommodations.</p><p>(1 of 2)</p>
