Neat. Try to run toddlers fav content. Major issues with ui. Weird. Hunt online, see suggestions to update server. Reasonable. Do so. Restart all things. Looks good. Open item. Error playing. Hmm. Check server. External drive not mounted. Try to mount. Unknown error. *sratches head. Troubleshoot and spend a good hour exploring options. Hunting info in terminal. Found solution. Happy toddler. Weird ass Saturday morning.</p>

Newfangled<p>I'm tempted to cancel my streaming subscriptions, toss my Roku in the trash, and stick to physical media. I like Blu-rays and DVDs. I even still have a VCR. aburtch<p>The dark pattern I hate the MOST is when you pause a show on <a href="https://triangletoot.party/tags/Roku" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Roku</span></a> and after a while it goes to the screensaver. But it you pick up the remote and hit “play,” it hijacks your selection and thinks you hit play on whatever ad they were showing you in the little billboard on the bottom. </p><p>To actually unpause your show you have to hit any other button to get back to the show before unpausing.</p>

There will be no further viv development, which makes sense because viv has literally become Jellyfin on Roku.</p><p>3. I'm now the Jellyfin Roku team lead 🤯 and will continue working on the client and directing the client just as I did on viv.</p><p>viv users, I'm ecstatic y'all used the client and went along with me on this ride. If you plug it on the WiFi, it won't work again unless you "activate it" with an online account...</p>
Bok<p>There's a category called "90-Minute Movies" on <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/Roku" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Roku</span></a>. I scrolled through the 40 thumbnails until you get to the MORE button that takes the category full screen. Exactly three of them show up as "1h 30m". The world is just full of lies…</p>
