jeanoappleseed
Good morning from #Pasadena. ☀️ & 22°-27°C (72°-81°F) - very civilized 🙌🏼

I’ve been struggling a bit with rules. Modifying them. Following my #ActuallyAutistic “whims” & letting them guide me or carry me away. But once on a sidetracked, I try to stay focus on what grabbed my attention.

Right now I’m making time for the garden. Though it’s not the true priority based on my education. There are other more important & urgent matters. BUT.

But I help the garden. And the garden helps me. It’s something I adore. It motivates me and makes me physically and mentally active.

I don’t take time off. I know! So the least I can do is do chores I love and that make me feel good. 👍🏻 No?

I bought these small and lowish #RaisedBeds a while back. They were cheap. Then I had no time to deal with them. NOT a priority.

Back on the front burner! I decided to reuse them in the parkway strip garden makeover/re-engineering. And I plan on growing pineapples in them. I think 🤔

Will it be a good spot for them with winter sun and summer shade from the oak? I think it will offer warmth, dry & protection from the harshest of what we get in solar radiation. Will dogs being walked damage it. Hopefully not if raised.

Growing pineapples here has many variables some of which can spell success, others disaster. So we’ll see.

Here we go!
