JennyFluff :heart_trans:<p>one thing I managed to do today, I modded one of my 40 track 5 1/4 inch drives with a new index sensor around the motor spindle.</p><p>I added a small reflective IR sensor module to to the spindle and painted the side of it black, leaving out about 6mm of paint.</p><p>Now I can read flippy disks without having to punch mirrored index holes to the floppies itself.</p><p><a href="https://chitter.xyz/tags/retroComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retroComputing</span></a></p>
