Monstreline<p>We’ve been calling the newer dog a <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/lurcher" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>lurcher</span></a> based on a number of physical and behavioural traits but without any hard evidence. On this evening’s walk by the <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/rideauRiver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rideauRiver</span></a> she clocked some geese and broke into a full double-suspension gallop to pursue them. I’ve seen her run FAST before…but nothing like that. Definitely some Sighthound in that genetic makeup.</p>
