Fucking mud!

This morning, our Astra got stuck. We planned extra time for this, as it was likely with everything being completely waterlogged.

After some swearing, getting briefly unstuck by throwing a few handfuls of woodchips under the front wheels only to get stuck again a few meters onwards, Iseki came to the rescue.

Made it to our appointment in time (and were left sitting in a hallway anyways).

The news cycle's dizzying. So something like this is helpful, even if I can't digest it all at once. The speed at which Our Putin is moving is shocking, but the Dems rolling over is devastating. NPR gives us in bullet points, day by day, this week's achievements in fascism.

Feeling unfulfilled or stuck at work? 3 ways to help you get unstuck via Ideas.Ted.Com [Shared]

Today, so many of us are wishing to safeguard ourselves — and our careers — against uncertainty. But how do we do this in a world where the waves of change keep coming and it can take all our energy just to stay afloat?

By thinking long term, says Dorie Clark, consultant and keynote speaker. “Long-term thinking protects us during downturns (of all kinds), because it keeps us moving toward our most important goals … It’s the surest path to meaningful and lasting success in a world that so often prioritizes what’s easy, quick, and ultimately shallow,” writes Clark in her new book The Long Game.

I'm at a crossroads with my current synth project and I can't make decision.....
I was using an FPGA for the oscillators and modulation sources, as well as delta-sigma DACs.... However when I tried to get it working on my little dev board I couldn't get the SPI peripheral working on the FPGA (the DACs and everything worked).
So I started looking at an STM32H743, but the problem with that is going to be speed of doing everything (and I'll need lots).
I'm not sure what to do; CPU or FPGA

Dan Harmon is great (and so is his channel). Whether or not you're into #trains or not (or are from #Florida or not) his message is simple and it's clear and it's very important.... If you get #stuck on the #railroad #tracks in the US or at a #train #crossing, find the #blue #sign and immediately notify the railroad BEFORE you call anyone else for help! #safety #PSA
