She handled her online bullies well, and it got her, and her father, a meal with the brand's founders and a tour of their HQ.</p><p>Charles & Keith is a Singaporean brand that the <a href="https://c.im/tags/LouisVuitton" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>LouisVuitton</span></a> luxury group used to have a 20% stake (it was since bought back). (Aside: LVMH owns a lot of luxury brands like Christian <a href="https://c.im/tags/Dior" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Dior</span></a>, <a href="https://c.im/tags/Loewe" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Loewe</span></a>, <a href="https://c.im/tags/Tiffany" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Tiffany</span></a> & Co., and <a href="https://c.im/tags/TAGHeuer" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TAGHeuer</span></a>, to mention a few.) If the LVMH luxury group bought shares of Charles & Keith before, it should be enough proof, in my view, that C&K is a luxury brand, too.</p><p>Either way, whichever side of the fence one subscribe to, we should not bully other people for calling a brand a “luxury”, or for any reason, just because it does not fit our own standards. By the word's definition, it means simply as “expensive”, or “great expense”.
