Algunos encuentros también lo llevan a reflexionar sobre sí mismo.</p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv8YO5BXCAQ" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv8YO5BXCAQ</a></p> Wim Wenders.<p>En <em>Casa Quiroga</em> se cena temprano y sin mucho que hacer hasta las campanadas nos sentamos a ver una o dos películas (a veces me quedo viendo una extra). Por estar metidos en la actividad no han sido pocas las veces en las que nos perdemos el momento preciso en que cambiamos de año y nos terminamos felicitando hasta que acaba lo que estamos viendo.</p><p>En esta ocasión elegimos <em><strong>Casablanca</strong></em> (Michael Curtiz, 1942) porque una persona no la había visto y al resto nos pareció buena idea revisitar un clásico, y <em><strong>Perfect Days</strong></em> (Wim Wenders, 2023) que ya llevaba varios meses en mi lista de películas por ver.</p><p>Tengo que reconocer que le estaba sacando un poco la vuelta por la última racha de fallos en películas muy pero que muy alabadas y premiadas pero que a mi me parecieron fallidas1, pero no la quitaba de la lista por el director, no he visto muchas películas de <strong>Wim Wenders</strong> pero hasta el momento no hay alguna que me haya parecido mala.</p> <p><strong><em>Perfect Days</em></strong> es protagonizada por <strong>Koji Yakusho</strong>2 a quien vuelvo a encontrar después de <a href="https://fixionauta.net/2024/10/21/75910/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><em>Sakebi</em></strong></a>. Si algo ha influenciado la calificación de 4 estrellas que le dejo es el verme reflejado en la situación del protagonista, con una rutina que nos gusta mucho pero que a veces es rota sin que podamos evitarlo. Llegamos a ese punto por razones similares y al menos en mi caso no pienso cambarlo porque estoy muy a gusto… eso sí, hay aspectos que no vendría nada mal afinar.</p><p>Buen sonundtrack, aunque el elemento de ficción tirado por un acantilado es que las cintas de Hirayama sigan funcionando perfectamente después de tantas décadas (en la tienda de discos se nos deja en claro que se trata de cintas originales). <em>Thumbs up</em> por la escena en donde regresa los cassettes a la vieja usanza, lejos de una fetichización hipster interpreto que el protagonista escucha música en cassettes como una forma de poner las cosas en su lugar.</p><p>La rutina y la soledad no son un aislamiento de la sociedad, en la vida de Hirayama hay espacio para la empatía, como lo demuestra en su relación con su compañero de trabajo, con su sobrina, con la dueña del bar y con otras personas con las que a veces ni cruza palabra. LordWoolamaloo<p>So, the 5 hour director's cut of Until the End of the World. Matt Potter<p>I have finally seen Wim Wenders' 'Perfect Days'. </p><p>Koji Yakusho won a Palme d'Or for his acting, which seems about right.
