Y⃒̸̷̝̜̙ͥͥͥngmar<p>Next "ole Mac", an Oleo-Mac 942 from 1997. This one is a trooper. Starts on the first pull, even in deep winter. The air filter is basically chicken fencing and somehow that works fine. Modern saws can choke on a dust mote, but this thing breathes saw chips and keeps going.</p><p>Got a clean-up and a new throttle cable, as the old had chafed through. Luckily some guy in Kaunas is stripping old saws and selling the parts for reasonable prices. Y⃒̸̷̝̜̙ͥͥͥngmar<p>More work on the old chainsaws I inherited.</p><p>Jon the Red (a Jonsered CS 2152) got some teeth. "Bark support" the parts diagram calls these. Jon says he can bark just fine without support. Cranky old saw.</p><p>Perhaps old saws are like old humans, they lose their teeth and you have to spend money to buy new ones.</p><p>Also noticed some incontinence.
