Debuting in <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Marvel?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Marvel</a> Comics in 2015, writers Brandon Montclare &amp; Amy Reeder (who also designed MG) were hired to make a sequel to Jack Kirby’s Moon Boy &amp; DD. It inspired an awesome <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Disney?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Disney</a>+ show which won 5 Emmys during its 2 season run.<br> <br> I was able to pick up this graphic novel inspired by the animated series at Rose City Comic Con and have it autographed by the writer Stephanie Williams.<br> <br> I’ve long thought this 2005 LEGO dragon would make a good <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/devildinosaur?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#devildinosaur</a> but could never stomach the price tag. So glad I finally found him for a decent price without wings! I reversed the direction of his body to create more of a T. Rex shape.<br> <br> It was a lot of fun making a <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/customminifigure?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#customminifigure</a> of <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/moongirl?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#moongirl</a> I cut up official <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/lego?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#lego</a> sticker sheets, finding her moon emblem on a DC Super Hero Girls sheet, and her knee pads &amp; helmet stripe from a Speed Champions polybag. Her hair is attached to her helmet with a wad of sticky tack!
