Adam<p>Excited to pick green tea leaves here soon. They can grow quite well in mild locations in western Washington.</p><p>I planted this green tea plant 15 years ago and it has survived some very hard frosts (down to -12°C/10°F) in the Chehalis Valley where it's planted.</p><p>We tried fermenting the leaves to make black tea a few years back, but didn't leave it long enough. Green hues are everythingSo this year is for recovering and rest, and one thing is to take my du days off. No to do list, just things and activities that I enjoy and that are for recharging. And one thing that does the job pretty well is to search for that perfect place to have a matcha. The more miss the better.<br>
I also got myself some equipment to identify different mosses, but the only thing I identified so far is that it’s been ages since I studied them and have no idea. But for a Sunday that’s more than enough I think.<br>
