Decided to buy a composition book and just write, write, write the kinks out.</p><p>Oh what a relief it is!</p><p>I've finalized on an IC-7300, a DX Commander Signature 12.4, and a 160 meter end fed. My wife was sick this weekend so I had MUCH less supervision and I was able to devote entirely too much time to working the radio compared to normal weekend. 33,720 total points operating single op, lower power (100w) in the Classic overlay (only had 14hrs of on air time).</p>

Gary @N8DMT<p>APRS Knowledge Quest Phase 4: Fired up SATSAGEN with the ADALM Pluto SDR to look at TX deviation during the APRS burst. All 3 radios look reasonable for deviation (although did see some occasional splatter on the Yaesu VX-8G output). Learned how to use TX deviation measurement on SATSAGEN SW, but did not resolve why radios work poorly in the car (other than there are few digi’s along my typical route).
