Być może wystawię się tu na ostrzał osób, które zechcą zarzucić mi przesadne ciągoty wpływologiczne, ale nawet gdyby pomiędzy tymi dziełami nie zachodziły bezpośrednie inspiracje, to i tak pokazują one jak pewne tematy czy pomysły wracają w szeroko rozumianej sztuce. Inna rzecz, że przynajmniej w przypadku pierwszych dwóch byłbym skłonny bronić tezy o bezpośrednich inspiracjach.Tak więc – przed Wami walka na mości w trzech interpretacjach.Na początek ilustracja Gustave'a Dorégo do francuskiego wydania "Don Kichota" Miguela de Cervantesa z lat 60. XIX wieku. W dwóch wersjach – pełnej oraz detalu, istotnym dla kolejnej ilustracji, bo uwypuklającym podobieństwa między nimi.Następnie kadr z komiksu "Prince Valiant" autorstwa Hala Fostera z 19 czerwca 1938 roku.A na koniec kadr z czwartego albumu serii "Wieże Bois-Maury", czyli "Rainhardta", autorstwa Hermanna, wydanego w oryginale w 1987 roku.PS. Polska edycja albumu "Reinhardt" ukazała się w 2013 roku nakładem Wydawnictwa Komiksowego.
