Pan Optykon<p>Jak być może wiecie, stopniowe odradzanie się koreańskiej branży filmowej po zakończeniu II wojny światowej, a wraz z nią japońskiej okupacji Korei, zostało zahamowane przez wojnę koreańską z lat 1950-1953.</p><p>O ile w 1946 roku w Korei zrealizowano tylko cztery filmy, o tyle następnym roku powstało ich już 13, a w 1949 – 20, co oznaczało nieznaczny spadek w stosunku do roku poprzedniego, w którym zrealizowano 22 filmy. Wszystko wskazywało, że w kolejnych latach ten poziom produkcji utrzyma się lub wzrośnie. Tymczasem w 1950 roku w Korei powstały tylko dwa filmy, a w czasie całej wojny zrealizowano ich łącznie 14.</p><p>Wiecie ile z tych czternastu filmów zachowało się do naszych czasów? Dwa. Przy czym, gdybyśmy zadali to pytanie cztery lata temu, odpowiedź brzmiałaby "Jeden".</p><p>W 2020 roku odkryto bowiem taśmę 16mm z filmem "Bukiet od trzydziestu milionów" (Samcheonman-ui kkochdabal, 1951, Shin Kyeong-gyun). Niestety – zachowana kopia jest bez dźwięku. Może więc bardziej adekwatną odpowiedzią na pytanie "Ile koreańskich filmów z czasów wojny koreańskiej zachowało się do naszych czasów?" byłoby "Jeden i trzy czwarte"?</p><p>"Bukiet od trzydziestu milionów" to propagandowy melodramat o poświęceniu na rzecz Korei. A konkretnie – opowieść o młodym mężczyźnie, który zostaje powołany na front, traci w walkach wzrok i trafia do szpitala wojskowego, oraz jego matce, która oddaje swe oczy, by mogły zostać przeszczepione jej synowi, aby ten wrócił na front. Tytułowy bukiet od trzydziestu milionów to wdzięczność narodu koreańskiego za jej poświęcenie.</p><p>Interesującym aspektem "Bukietu od trzydziestu milionów" jest także to, że łączy on w sobie dwa typy południowokoreańskiej produkcji filmowej z okresu wojny koreańskiej. Ta bowiem zasadniczo dzieliła się na frontową i pozafrontową. Pierwsza obejmowała bowiem realizacja kronik filmowych i filmów dokumentalnych dotyczących wojny przez filmowców, którzy dołączyli do południowokoreańskich wojsk, druga natomiast produkcję filmów na terenach nieobjętych działaniami zbrojnymi, głównie w Pusan. "Bukiet od trzydziestu milionów" to produkcja tego drugiego typu, lecz włączono do niej autentyczne materiały z frontu, zarejestrowane przez filmowców towarzyszących południowokoreańskiej armii.</p><p>Odrestaurowany film można obejrzeć na kanale youtube'owym Koreańskiego Archiwum Filmowego: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUwzu9UWSvA" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=YUwzu9UWSv</span><span class="invisible">A</span></a>.</p><p>Nie jest to seans łatwy ze względu na brak ścieżki dźwiękowej, ale to ciekawe doświadczenie.
