JukkaA few years ago I was trying photograph a wintery cover picture for a newsletter I was working on. It was a gloomy day, and I was running low on inspiration. Filling up the SD card with "meh". But then...<br>

"Heyyyyy! What was that? It scared the other birds. Oh, it's you. Welcome back!" I had seen a northern hawk-owl there the previous year. Yeah, the day was not so bland anymore. The feisty little owl had grabbed a rat to go. I took a few photos and left the owl to dine in peace. The local blue tits and blackbirds were not so considerate though.<br>

My outing was still a failure. The owl photos were not good enough to be the cover picture either :( <br>
