NFDI4Chem<p>This monday we had an internal Metadatathon at the TIB – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Technik und Naturwissenschaften und Universitätsbibliothek. The aim was to discuss current issues regarding the representation of samples, chemical compounds and assays with MiIChIs, <a href="https://nfdi.social/tags/metadata" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>metadata</span></a> schemas and <a href="https://nfdi.social/tags/ontologies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ontologies</span></a> within NFDI4Chem and the <a href="https://nfdi.social/tags/chemistry" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>chemistry</span></a> community. </p><p>Challenges in harmonising <a href="https://nfdi.social/tags/data" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>data</span></a> from different consortium data resources and their integration into the NFDI4Chem search service were also discussed.</p>

David Pape<p>Does anyone know about <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/ontologies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ontologies</span></a> and tooling that allow me to parametrize <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/rdf" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rdf</span></a> graphs?</p><p>The concrete use case I have in mind is configuration of <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/shacl" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>shacl</span></a> shapes. E.g., if I have a shape that checks for a string to be of a certain length, I want to be able to change that number. Or, if a shape checks whether a given parameter is part of a list, I want to configure this list.</p><p>I already implemented something that works for these two use cases but I would prefer reusing existing solutions 🙂</p>
