Ted Pavlic (he/him)<p>It's funny to me that many graduate students these days don't realize that you can actually install LaTeX on your own computer. The amazing impact of <a href="https://mas.to/tags/overleaf" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>overleaf</span></a>. Grad students don't know how good they've got it.</p><p>Sadly though, development on mainstream LaTeX has stagnated, and it's already showing its age (lack of accessible PDF's, etc.). How long until it has to be abandoned? Or maybe it will hang around forever for a small FORTRAN-like community?</p>

Today was the first time a project wouldn't let me pull because it insisted on git tokens (I already had set up). Ended up switching my git credential helper from `osxkeychain` to `store` (on <a href="https://norden.social/tags/macOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>macOS</span></a>) &amp; now it works w/ fresh clone.</p>

So, no way.</p>
