This is a mirror of the tech industry attitude on ethics now. I've been around to see this infrastructure since 1998. The difference between AI and the industry is the difference between being anti-stick and disliking being hit with sticks. Otherwise, it's a good time to start building frameworks for this type of regulation because the industry certainly is not thinking about it.
