BEWARE of restaurants where you pay your check with your phone and ApplePay via an outfit called Toast. Scanning the QR code will install a Toast App Clip without your consent. Toast will then have your personal information and I must also assume so will the restaurant. You can remove the App Clip but it's installed with no notice and no consent. You'll get an email receipt. Read the "privacy" policy. Never again. #Toast #Restaurant
