lars<p>Gestern das Finale von Staffel 1 der <a href="https://social.lsnet.eu/tags/TVSerie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TVSerie</span></a> <a href="https://social.lsnet.eu/tags/Silo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Silo</span></a> auf <a href="https://social.lsnet.eu/tags/AppleTV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AppleTV</span></a> gesehen und ich bin wirklich enttäuscht.</p><p>Es wird mehr als deutlich, und ist auch logisch nachvollziehbar, dass im Silo massiver Ressourcen-Mangel herrscht.</p><p>Trotzdem werden Leute mit extrem aufwändigen Raumanzügen mit Lebenserhaltungssystem und eingebauter VR-Technik rausgeschickt, damit sie das Kameraobjektiv reinigen, um dann ausgerechnet mit schlechtem Klebeband umgebracht zu werden?</p><p>Beim Shutdown des Generators sieht man kurz die grüne VR-Welt auf dem Cafeteria-Bildschirm aufblitzen. Warum? Das bedeutet ja, dass die Welt 24/7 gerendert wird, selbst wenn sie keiner sieht und wo doch Ressourcen so knapp sind? </p><p>Ok, die Primärenergie lässt sich offenbar nicht drosseln ohne dass das Silo explodiert, aber das erscheint mir alles mächtig viel Aufwand nur damit gelegentlich mal das Objektiv abgewischt wird. Mit der Energie könnte man besser einen Fahrstuhl betreiben?</p><p>(Dass der Generator eigentlich eine Turbine ist, die man unmöglich offen betreiben kann: Geschenkt.)</p><p>Die grüne Welt war von Anfang an zu glitchy um die Realität sein zu können, somit habe ich draußen kein Idyll mit Schmetterlingen unter blauem Himmel erwartet. I'd listened to the audiobook version a couple years back, and I thought I'd finished it, but I don't remember Solo from the book at all.</p><p>I know it's cliche, but the book really is so much better.
