Roberto D’AmbrosioBlack and White set with @boackaertmodel during my last masterclass in Brussels (@(@malinamore.studio). Make up, as usual by the amazing @alice.m.mua.

I rarely shoot black and white, but when I do, I do it intentionally. The lighting set is chosen to create an high contrast between the model and the background. Also the model clothing are chosen to contrast with the model skin and still keep the subject detached from the background.

What are your experience. Do you decide before taking the picture if the picture will be black and withe or you let your creativity drive you during post production ?
