The boards, which focus on bees and butterflies, are part of a project by the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership (CRP). Stations with wildlife gardens or pollinator-friendly planters, maintained by community volunteers, offer ideal spots for observing local species. Jayne Sumner from CRP highlighted the importance of these mini havens for wildlife, especially as habitats face threats. Greater Anglia’s Partnerships Manager, Scott Dolling, praised the initiative, which supports pollinators and fosters community involvement, with over 335 volunteers enhancing over 10,000 square metres of land.
https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/about-us/news-desk/news-articles/communities-encouraged-spot-wildlife-essex-and-south-suffolk-rail
