Karen Mardahl<p>Plans are:<br>Greenhouse: tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers<br>Pots in front yard: potatoes, lovage<br>By driveway: rhubarb <br>New field: corn, hokkaido, butternut squash, courgettes, maybe decoration pumpkins for Fall<br>Raised beds: savoy cabbage, lettuces, strawberries, radishes, spinach, leeks + carrots, onions + garlic<br>Now that we’ve settled on this, we’ll flesh out more plans like basil with tomatoes and marigolds somewhere to do some of the partnering to ward off baddies. </p><p>I tried the 3 sisters last year inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer in “Braiding Sweetgrass”, that is, corn + squash + runner beans.
