A good example of the many ways that #multinational corporations export & import criminal behavior, without 'breaking any laws' where their facade 'home base' is.

While international #RegulatoryHarmony is between difficult and impossible, the status-quo arguments are usually based on a defense of 'sovereign laws apply only within the land of the #sovereign entity', the general Rule of Law and many international treaties apply to both sides of the transactions.

All #corporations operate at the condoning of the people via the state. All people working for such an organization should be required to follow all the laws of their land, no matter where they operate. That includes #labor laws, pay & benefits, #environmental regs, etc.

I hope Belgium gets this passed, and the dominos begin to fall.
