@dbattistella i am thinking how crazy it would be if abby martin found out, that similar things (even with arab participation) have happened several times during the last decades and are even happening right now. e.g.:
#yemen (2014 - now): ~24mio civilians affected. a quarter million dead, 70% of them children under 7. most of them died because they starved to death or had no clean water.
#Sudan (2023 - now): ~30mio civilians affected. half a million children dead, half of them because or starvation. cutting of electricity and access to water and food while bombing cities has happened there all the time while lots of people were solely focussing on gaza.
#Tigray: 600-800k casualties. and millions of children cut of from food and water.
i am not trying to troll here, you can look it all up.
the #gaza war has not even been the deadliest war (to children and adults) since the gaza war started.
that doesn't make anything that happens in gaza any better and that doesn't make the war crimes easier to accept.
but it shows that #bigotry also affects lots of those standing with palestine. like abby martin.
