I took my li-l brown, biracial patootie to South Africa in 1986, right before the Pass laws were officially struck down.

I was given "honorary White" status thanks to my UK passport. Not that it was remotely useful when I was out and about. Had some very interesting conversations with S.Africans willing and curious enough to have them.
