I’d never actually watched Doogie Howser MD before, so I watched the pilot today. The thing that really bothers me is the sexualizion of Doogie, who has only just turned 16. A nurse at the hospital aggressively hits on him and takes his pants off. And I see the next episode has a doctor who wants him to impregnate her. WTF? No wonder I didn’t understand consent as a kid/youth. 80s shows DGAF.
