I don't think I've ever taken a picture of a plover with it's spur showing, or ever noticed it on one before.

Taken on the esplanade in Darwin, Northern Territory while on hols recently.

Plover (Vanellus miles), also known as Masked Lapwing and Spur-winged Plover. The photo shows the spur on its wing.
