Rerun for : Chicken of the woods. This one was growing on a felled flowering plum, so it was edible.

These chickens of the woods (Laetiporus gilbertonii) look like large, fleshy orange-capped shelf mushrooms with creamy yellow undersides, growing on a dead trunk. These are edible and considered choice.
