Not to get political on main but seeing the president of the United States mention "manifest destiny" in a positive light sends shivers down my spine as a latin american
@clarissadelune And google maps just renamed the Gulf of Mexico, I hear.
@clarissadelune As it should. We feel you.
@clarissadelune This is most definitely worth getting political on main and everywhere else about.
@clarissadelune Sends shivers down my spine as a Polish-American.
I'd have hoped we learned our lesson. Lord knows a whole army of history teachers tried to teach it to me; I assumed everyone else was getting the memo.
@clarissadelune He doesn't know the history of the phrase. His handlers know that he doesn't, and that's why they could get away with manipulating him into using it.
Same with most of P25's regressions - he doesn't know the history, P25's people do, and are counting on his ignorance.
And yes, it totally sucks to have an uneducated moron for a president.
As an Italian American and a Jewish American, it definitely sends chills down my spine
@clarissadelune Manifest Destiny should have stayed in the History Books
Canadians, too.
"Not to get political on main but seeing the president of the United States mention "manifest destiny" in a positive light sends shivers down my spine as a latin american"
@mikureich88 @clarissadelune very cute if mexicans looked like this we wouldn't have to kill them all
@clarissadelune Right? Next he'll be waxing poetically about bringing Christianity to the heathen lands of the middle east.
