Apple release Logic Pro X for the (post 2018, I think) iPad. An amazing feat of reengineering of a highly functional and complex keyboard and mouse based app to a touch interface for £50/year or £5/month.
People on the internet immediately up in arms because it doesn't have Dolby Atmos mixing, and MIDI exports to something or other aren't available, and so on and so on, culminating in a million repetitions of "I won't get it because it's a subscription”.
Honestly, it's the very first iPad release. They will add the other features over time. And by the standards of the music production software industry, it's cheap - even very cheap.
I know Apple are no longer the underdogs that they were in the 1990s or 2000s, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt here.
