Today (September 9) is the 25th anniversary of the North American release of the SEGA Dreamcast.
I have strange Dreamcast story, I found one in my neighbor's trash a couple years back? Seriously, people throw out WILD stuff. It was IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX, too, with controllers and a game.
I just had to grab a cord. Now, I need to GDEMU it (the physical games I want are far too expensive).
My main goal is to play Gauntlet Legends on it. There's some shooters too.
But... mostly Gauntlet Legends.
Happy birthday, Dreamcast. Now you're 25 and you can finally rent cars.
Also, check out this great article on the Dreamcast from 1998 via web-japan.org that I got this post's image from: https://web-japan.org/kidsweb/archives/cool/98-10-12/dreamcast.html
