A Dylan song I heard early on via the Manfred Mann cover on the radio is 'The Mighty Quinn'. (And the original is WAY better.) 'Eskimo' is now known as a slur and is the incorrect term for either the Inuit or Yupik people, the native Alaskan and Siberian folk. But Dylan is one of the least racist, hateful dudes out there, so we'll give him a pass. This is from 1967, and it rocks the fuck OUT.
Dylan is one of the great USA songwriters-- a fucking living legend.
@jake4480 ah! I was looking for information on the face on the tail fins of Alaska airlines planes - and they called him Eskimo. I did wonder if it should have said Inuit.
@sarajw whew, there's SO much really racist stuff on stuff still, I mean, ESPECIALLY a lot of sports teams, etc.
