@darthdzl The position is different than it was with Zack, etc. Peter & I are the heads of DC Studios. The only studio interference would be from us! 
@jamesgunn Speaking of studio intervention: these are of course your plans and I respect whatever choices you make, but if you could tell me if this will be more of “let the creators tell their own stories within a looser kind of universe, where everything does not have to be connected” or “a stricter shared universe where stories are more interconnected” approach, I would be grateful.

This is something you said on the Josh Horowitz podcast. Having someone with this worldview control a big portion of popular culture is an absolute blessing. Not only do I believe you can reshape and elevate DC, I also believe you can reshape and elevate blockbuster cinema as a whole. Be brave and bold James, you are loved.

Idk how you expect to have a successful universe without concluding the universe before it. It's not that hard to just give everyone what they want & thrive as a company. Zack does a lot with smaller budgets. Just let him film JL 2&3 simultaneously like he did with Rebel Moon which will mark the end of that chapter. It would win over paying consumers that would be more inclined to be open-minded about your universe while giving closure to fans. (And what's so hard about releasing a director's cut of Suicide Squad?? Easy money!)
