Apparently DOD went through the web pages for Medal of Honor recipients and marked those of non-white dudes as "DEI", which also broke links.

@Huntn00 @msbellows how could it be anything else? What are they fighting, inclusion? Then they fight for exclusion, when they say they don’t want equality what could they want? Inequality. A fight against diversity can only be a battle for racial superiority. Now that the jobs don’t require work, and we have more workers than jobs, they only want white people to have them.

I believe in the right hands, Capitalism might work with heavy duty oversight, corporate organizations can be efficient. Govt can be efficient. The problem as always is greed, max profits, lack of oversight, to such an extent that it harms the stability of our society. 1/3
@passwordsarehard4 @msbellows 2/3 When capitalism is allowed to run free in the hands of greedy humans, pulling excessive wealth from the system into private hands, it cannibalizes the market, and disenfranchises people until it collapses. Ultimately it requires a poor, working class or slaves, to feed a minority group of uber and moderately wealthy.
@passwordsarehard4 @msbellows 3/3 And as automation and AI continues to advance what we know as a middle class will continue to shrink, maybe until it’s gone. But my guess is the system will collapse well before then.

@petes_bread_eqn_xls @msbellows Interesting. I know plenty of scientists (specifically physicists and astronomers) who aren’t atheists. It’s interesting they chose that particular symbol.
@heafnerj @petes_bread_eqn_xls It's not that all scientists are atheists; it's that all (or at least, nearly all) atheists accept the physical world as it is, which pretty much ≈ science.
