To my fellow Canadian cycle enthusiasts, if you're in the market for some new cycling kit, check out 7mesh.com. A Canadian company (BC) that makes a variety of what seem like pretty nice cycling clothes for roadies and mountain bikers. Partner and I ordered a few things and they just came in the mail. We haven't actually ridden in them yet, but they fit well and seem like pretty good quality.

J'ai testé hier, l'application #baba

C'est juste dommage qu'on ne puisse pas encore éditer la position GPS de la photo après l'envoi. J'ai lu sur le forum que ça devrait pouvoir se faire a l'avenir.

Autre petit soucis, parfois il y a des problèmes d'orientation de la prise de vue, il faut souvent la corriger ça peut vite devenir pénible surtout avec des centaines de photos envoyés. Mais là on a la possibilité de l'éditer, c'est un peu long par contre ^^

Il n’y a pas de possibilité d’édition de ce type pour l’instant, mais ça fait partie de ce qu’on envisage d’implémenter. L’orientation peut être modifiée par le contributeur d’origine, pour une séquence, utile quand la caméra n’est pas face à la trajectoire.

At FOSDEM in Brussels (2025-02-01/02) we've met the #Baba team, which develops an Android app for @panoramax (the "self-hosted Street View" based on @openstreetmap – also see wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Pa). We wanted to bring their app to the "libre space", so we discussed how we could make that possible. For quite a while now I try to exert #BABA (Buy Anything But American). That originates, I think, in Canada. Since I buy hardly any processed foods, it is very easy for me to buy non-US-stuff. But also for the non-food stuff I check where it comes from. Does my money benefit a US-Company, I do not buy. Well, that is easier said than done, to be honest. But I do my best.
