Slightly surprised that this is the Torygraph!!

If they criticise one part of Putin's project, Trump, how long until they criticise another part of Putin's same project, ?

Or are they just hoping and expecting that their readership aren't bright enough to make the connection?

@Sustainable2050 Like economists and journalists assumed that some people cared about the economics of

Putin's 17.4m didn't give a shit about economics, they voted to fuck up the lives of people they hated.

Isn't it the same with Putin's Trump's voters? Immigrants and "woke", rather than immigrants and Europeans, but same difference really.

@Judeet99 We still maintain the cupboard. Which came in very useful for the first few weeks of lockdown until we could get a supermarket grocery delivery. (The only fresh veg we had in the garden at that time of year was stinging nettles, so stinging nettle soup was made.)

@artemis I went on a jolly to Japan - a bunch of British local government people doing a tour of various Japanese local governments.

We started off being very polite, not raising any "interesting" topics, not giving any "interesting" answers.

But towards the end of the trip we'd become more honest. So when the population decline question came up - they raised it, not us - we felt able to say "ah, we've got a solution for that, immigration" (this was before ).

Dead silence all round followed by a change of subject.
