Und was ist mit all den Programmiersprachen, die von Amerikanern erfunden wurden, die können wir dann wohl auch nicht mehr verwenden. Wir sollten lieber unsere eigenen Programmiersprachen erfinden, die erst gar nicht in Englisch sind, sondern in einer Europa-sprache.
@leyrer Dann brauchen wir auch unser eigenes Internet Protocol (IP) und eigenes TCP, usw, weil das ist ja dann auch schlecht.
Zum Glück wurde #Git von einem Europäer erfunden, sonst müssten wir #Codeberg auch droppen.
Btw, "droppen" und "BTW" und "WTF" darf ich dann ja auch nicht mehr sagen, weil das ist Englisch... sagen wir halt es ist UK-Englisch. Wobei, die sind ja auch nicht mehr bei der EU. Also lieber gar kein Englisch mehr.

Ich habe die letzten Tage versucht zu #Codeberg umzuziehen. Grundsätzlich kein Problem, außer man möchte so lieb gewonnen Funktionen wie die Anbindung an #Codecov nutzen.
Der Umzug zu Codeberg wird hier in letzter Zeit immer wieder unter dem #unplugtrump Tag propagiert, aber so ganz passt das für mich nicht.

@organicmaps wow GH blocked you?! That's crazy! Did they give a pseudo-reason at all? I would love to move off GH myself. But I don't want to self-host forgejo - I don't have the time or expertise, and #Codeberg is missing a critical feature: ability to filter searches by programming language. So despite wanting to move off GitHub I do not feel that any alternatives are currently at the point that I would want to use them @Codeberg
Never tried myself, but would https://github.com/magit/forge work as an interface to #MSGitHub?

I've been relentlessly negative toward one git forge lately, so here's something positive: I've joined the Codeberg e.V. as a supporting member and invite you to do the same.

Hey #indeweb, anyone with experience hosting (open-sourced) personal sites with media files (images, PDF) on #Codeberg? I aim to make use of a #Hugo pipeline from Codeberg to Codeberg Pages, like from Github to Github Pages / Netlify / Vercel. I don't want to test the limits of the terms of use though. Also considering #Cloudinary, bit unsure how to manage the upload automatically.
