Requiem For A Dream was referenced a decade ago when Seth Rogen was at an internet movie critics panel. He along with another was asked "What is the number one film a child should not see" A flustered Rogen blurted out Hostel, but the dude next to Him stated " You can explain Hostel to a kid, but You can't explain RFAD" Took 10 years to finally get around to seeing this. Pure joyous misery, more than an American Trainspotting. All but one scene with Jenifer Connelly I'm like God Fu$%'n Dam!😍 Then at other times I'm like GOD FUC}!NG DAMMIT!😭🤮

Jetzt mal ehrlich: Dieser Film war ein Monster. Auch wenn es „nur“ drei Oscars dafür gab, hat dieses kleine Kammerspiel für mich 22/23 die Saison als größte Überraschung dominiert. Es war schlicht unglaublich, was Arronofsky und Fraser aus einem Theaterstück extrahiert und auf die Leinwand gebracht haben. (ARD)
