A short ferry ride from Seattle in Bremerton, WA is the USS Turner Joy museum.

The Turner Joy is a Forest-Sherman class Destroyer. Commissioned in 1959 and serving until 1982, she's really unique among museum ships, since she shares technology both with older WWII warships as well as later Cold War designs. There's even a few elements that a modern U.S. Navy sailor would recognize.

She's in really good condition and well worth a visit if you're in the Seattle area.
